About a week ago, I got to go on a fabulous food tour with Taste Porto where we got to try authentic, yet not the stereotypical food they offer. From the delicious aperitif accompanied with a moscatel, to the hearty Porto sandwiches, this 3.5 hour tour will have you leaving more than satisfied, but also struggling to walk up the hills that make up beautiful Porto.

Everyone thinks about bull fights and flamenco dresses when they think about Spain, and Seville during Feria resembles just that. Unlike Semana Santa, which is somewhat a somber festivity, Feria is an alegre (happy), bright, and fun festival pretty every Sevillano looks forward to each spring. Feria, which is celebrated on the Triana area of Seville called "Los Remedios," begins two weeks after the end of Semana Santa.

Now, it is argued that Seville takes the cake for these two festivities, which tends to attract many tourists from around the world. My Top 7 Toronto Picks

Last summer I was in Toronto and was gifted with beautiful, sunny weather and a balcony views overlooking Lake Ontario...it wasn't too shabby if you ask me. Although it's probably freezing cold now, I'm dreaming of one day going back to Canada, the forgotten land of North America.
