The Verdict
A DC must go! If you are a French food lover, looking for a classy date night, and want to take your taste buds on a Parisian adventure, I highly recommend this place. The duck was probably the winner of the night, a slow roasted breast crusted with a honey outer layer delivered in an exquisite cider jus and accompanied with baby turnips. The cheese plate started the culinary experience on a great note with marmalade specially chosen to complement each delicious, savory cheese presented. Prepare to be teleported to the land of cheese, croissants, and wine- no passport required. Oui Oui!

  1. I'm originally from D.C., and Le Diplomate is definitely a hot spot right now. I'm reading about it everywhere! I won't be home again until December, but I'll have to check it out when I'm there.

    1. So awesome to hear you're from DC! Yes, definitely recommend it and I've been told that the brunch menu is equally as amazing.
