A Williamsburg Wintery Wonderland

Last week wasn't a real week. With 5 inches of snow, I ended up with 2 and a half day week (I know, people from New England are probably shaking their heads and rolling their eyes), so I definitely did not complain! I took the opportunity to do some extra studying take lots of pictures of my beautiful campus covered in a glistening, white blanket of snow. Here at William and Mary, I am most definitely spoiled and here are reasons why:

The Wren building is 314 years old, making it the oldest academic building still in use. It's a privilege to walk the halls that carry so much history and seeing it on a snowy day makes it that much better!

At one point, Wren was the only building at William and Mary, was burned down three times and was once an academic home to six presidents such as Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and James Tyler whom were students at the college- pretty epic, right?!

It was so nice to be able to walk around the crisp white campus and enjoy the day off while I could. Although snow days and campus closures are my two favorite combinations, I'm ready to escape the frigidness of winter and be reunited with the country who stole my heart, Spain. One more week!

How do you spend your snow days?
